The creators of 13th Age in Glorantha are the authors of 13th Age and Glorantha. No one could do this project better.
This is a natural partnership of some of the strongest role-playing game designers and authors in the industry. They share a long history, having gamed and worked together for over twenty years.
Before Rob Heinsoo was a co-designer for 13th Age and 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, Rob worked on Gloranthan projects with Greg Stafford at Chaosium and Issaries Inc. Rob also worked on the computer game King of Dragon Pass which borrowed ideas from Jeff Richard’s Gloranthan Varmandi campaign.
Jonathan Tweet, before co-designing 13th Age and being the lead designer for 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons Jonathan developed Gloranthan adventures for Avalon Hill/Chaosium.
In many ways, for them it is coming back full circle.
Let me introduce you to the creators
The Companies Behind the Creators
Behind the team are a trio of small gaming companies dedicated to providing high-quality gaming products. There is a lot to the work beyond the creating the books, from fulfillment, to web site design, to layout, art, and running games.
Fire Opal Media is a game design and development company bringing together some of the very best designers and professionals in the gaming industry for a single purpose: to make great games. Fire Opal Media is responsible for developing such games as 13th Age, Shadowrun: Crossfire (an adventure deckbuilding game), and Heralds of Chaos.

Moon Design Publications owns and publishes all things Gloranthan. They recently celebrated 15 years of publishing, and have been active in the Gloranthan community for even longer. They recently published their magnus opus, the Guide to Glorantha and accompanying Argan Argar Atlas.
